Snowflake and Petals Presentation
Snowflake Symmetry
Radial symmetry for six-spoke snowflake: 360° ÷ 6 = 60°
Add Endpoints To Snowflake
Square: 4 turns of 90°
Diamond: Turns of 60°, 120°, 60°, 120°
Circle: Use a 360° arc measure
From Snowflakes to Flowers
Snowflakes and flowers both use radial symmetry, and repetition. The coding logic stays the same, only the formulas and shapes change. n = number of petals
Basic Petal Formula: 360° ÷ n for spacing around a circle
To Make a Petal: Use two matching arcs with a turn of (180° − arc angle) between them to mirror the shape.
